Internship Program

At Sunrise W Land & Cattle, part of our vision is to educate others on working with the land to create a regenerative system.  We believe that involving the next generation is a key factor to spreading awareness and promoting a healthier way of agriculture.

We created an internship program that is structured to teach the next generation how to start their own operation. We have a spring and a fall internship that are 8-12 weeks long. The start of the program will focus on the work required to run a regenerative ranch and the daily chores. The interns will then move to learning the 5 principles of soil health and how to apply them to an operation. We will finish the internship by teaching what it takes to run a business by understanding the economics, finances, and how to get started.
